Dosing varies based on the individual. The general rule of thumb is to start with a lower dose and if needed, increase your dose over time to achieve the intended effect. Depending on the individual and the ailment, dosing instructions will differ. Some individuals only need micro does of CBD rich hemp extract and others may need standard doses, or macro doses.
Micro doses are considered a low level of medication, in the range of 0.5 mg to 10 mg of CBD per dose, per day (CBD/dose/day).
- Micro doses can be effective for headache, mild anxiety, minor pain, nausea, PTSD, stress, and metabolic disorders.
- Standard doses have been shown to be effective for pain, inflammation, autoimmune disorders, moderate anxiety, depression, arthritis, certain mental disorders, fibromyalgia, multiple sclerosis, inflammatory bowel syndrome, and autism.
- Doses at this level are often used to treat cancer, epilepsy, seizure disorders, and liver disease.
Each Little Tree tincture comes with a graduated dropper, so you can accurately measure how much CBD you are taking. Understanding how much CBD is in each dose can be tricky, but once you understand how CBD is packaged, it is easy to measure.
CBD is measured by milligrams (mg) per milliliter (mL). A serving is 1 mL (approximately 1 dropper).
Little Tree tinctures come in four different serving sizes (concentrations): 25 mg, 33 mg, 50 mg, and 67 mg. Each product description contains detailed information about how much CBD each serving contains. This information is also on each label so you can accurately measure your dose.
Doses can be halved, quartered, or even doubled to get to your desired amount of CBD. There is no risk of overdose.
As always, it may be wise to consult your health care professional to determine the proper level of CBD for your condition.
